What To Wear
When working with family clients, the most common question I get is "What should we wear?"
While I can offer some outfit tips and ideas, I believe it's most important for you and your family to be true to yourselves. I prefer not to dictate your wardrobe choices, as the memories we're capturing belong to you, not me. If you want to capture your children just as they are at this moment in time, it might be important for their (and your) memories that they wear their beloved Spiderman t-shirt or Princess Elsa tiara. However, if you'd like some guidance on creating a more styled look for the photographs, here are a few suggestions. Above all, ensure that your personalities shine through.

When: We offer sessions on weekday evenings and select weekends. Golden hour is best! About 1–2 hours before sunset is my favorite time for that dreamy, flattering light! Let me know what timeframe works best for you, and we’ll find a date that fits.
Where:
OUTDOOR: I have several beautiful outdoor locations I recommend, from open fields and parks to more urban or downtown settings. If you're envisioning something specific—like water, tall grasses, or even your own backyard—I’d love to hear your ideas!
STUDIO: I regularly work out of several beautiful studios perfect for family, milestone, boudoir sessions, and more. These spaces are located in West Bottoms, Kansas City, Shawnee, Olathe, and Lawrence.
