Hi, I’m eleshea.
To sum up who I am, would be like trying to shove a marshmallow into a coffee straw. I guess you can get it there with a good bit of finagling and several other mixed emotions but perhaps one should not break a sweat over such a feat.
I am a strong, independent wife, a loving mother, a devoted teacher, and a warm-hearted servant. I give all that I am to the task I am devoted. I try to think outside of the box and always involve a splash of color.
I loved taking my baby to have her pictures made at the “fancy clothing store photography studios” (what mother wouldn’t), but I couldn’t get past the repetitive, out-of-date posing and lack of customer service that I kept coming across.
During that new time in motherhood, I purchased a program through the studio I was working with that offered me the opportunity to come back once a month for one free print from each session. By the time I had been there 5 different times, I was taking in my own props and doing my own posing to try to change things up. I realized then, that I could do this myself, better than they were doing it!
A year after my first daughter was born I invested in my first point-and-shoot camera. That whole first year was full of an overabundance of pictures of my baby’s growth, mountains and trees, and anything I could find to take a picture of. I can honestly say, I got carried away and had to be reminded to calm down on the overflow of pictures I was sharing.
I have been a professional photographer since 2013 and at this point in my career, I can say that photography is about so much more than just clicking a camera. It is about, serving my clients by listening to their wants and needs, being flexible, skillful, prepared, and most of all having fun! I am so proud to be able to say that I am now an insured LLC with a storefront offering the best service around and I can confidently say that your most precious memories will be preserved forever if you choose to work with me.
