Hi, I’m
Eleshea.
This is the story about how I became a
Photographer & Videographer
If you’d told me years ago that I’d end up behind the camera—capturing first kisses, toddler giggles, and milestone moments—I probably would’ve laughed. But here I am… and honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
My journey into photography didn’t begin in a studio. It started with people. Listening to them. Understanding them. Seeing them.
Before I ever picked up a camera, I earned a degree in social work. I was drawn to connection, to stories, to that spark that makes each person unique. That part of me never changed—I just found a different lens (literally) to do that work through.
My first “real” camera was meant to capture my own family’s everyday memories, but what started as a creative outlet turned into a full-blown calling. I fell in love with the whole process—from mastering light and gear to crafting stories that make people feel seen and celebrated.
Over a decade later, I’ve had the joy of photographing everything from wedding day magic to corporate branding for companies like Herbalife and KU Medical, to heartfelt moments between everyday families (which are often the most powerful of all).
But here’s a little more about me, just in case you’re wondering who’s behind the lens…
I’m a homeschool mom who thrives on coffee, chaos, and cuddles. I play volleyball every week like I’m still in high school and dance in the kitchen like nobody’s watching (even though my kids totally are). I’m married to the love of my life, and being his wife is one of my greatest joys. I’m silly, sentimental, a little extra sometimes, and deeply committed to making people feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
Fresh Feature Photo & Film isn’t just my business—it’s my heart. Whether I’m working with a high school senior, a new mama, a therapist building their brand, or a couple saying “I do,” I bring the same energy, empathy, and excitement to every session.
This work lights me up. It connects me to others in the most meaningful way. And it gives me the chance to hand people a gift they’ll treasure for life—the ability to look back and say, “That was us. That was real.”
Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to tell your story next.
Thanks for reading my story, See you soon!
